Some people seem to be experiencing difficulties with electric leads and globes purchased a number of years ago or from other suppliers. Universal Vision now imports top quality electric leads and globes specifically for the lamps we sell. The electric leads are white in colour and have a quality certificate.

Switching the lamps on and off and moving them around a lot also seems to shorten the lifespan of the globes. If you are going to move the lamp, it is recommended that you remove the globe first, then put it back in once the lamp is in its new position.
